I am writing this from Massachusetts. Yup, made it home – with the cat. No kitty barf, no breaking down…but we still have to make it back. The car is in for minor repairs now, so it should be smooth sailing.
I am staying with my parents this trip, and I have found out they are not all that trilled about being called meme and pepe to their grand-kitty – but they will get over that!
While here, I have been trying to see as many people as I can. Stopped by the high school, the Career Center and met up with a couple friends. Today, since the car is in the shop, we spent the day in Swansea – more specifically The Grove. Actually, left town to have breakfast at Monica’s restaurant (Cerulli’s in Mattapoisett) for breakfast with my parents. They liked it, and they got to meet Monica. Back here in town, I went up to the bar with George and my dad. Got to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a while. All is going well for everyone!
Tonight I meet up with Kevin, and even more people over the next couple days. It looks like George and I will be heading back to the mid-west later next week, with a well-rested kitty, a fine tuned car, and wonderful holiday memories.
OK – time to play with the Bucci-mistier!
